A motor accident. which resulted itt the death of a five-year-old boy, Pat» rick Edward Gordon, son of Mr. Michael S. C. Gordon,.of Haupouri Station, occurred to-day at the home of the child's grandfather. The child, who was standing behind* a . private hedge with "his grandfather, rushed through a gap when a lorry entered the gate, and fell straight in front of the wheels of the vehielel He was killed instantly. The lorry was in charge of Joseph M'lntyxejf a Hastings carrier. ;
