Aii"application by Charles William Albert Morrison and Jessie Marion Ada Morrison by way of an originating summons to obtain approval to an arv rangement by which the widow in the estate of William Henry Morrison, farmer, late of Eongomai, sells her share in the estate to the administrators on." behalf of the estate was heard in the Supreme Court this morning before hia Honour the Chief Justico (Sir Michael Myers). Mr. H. M'Slicrry appeared for the plaintiffs; Mr. D. W. Virtue represented the seven infant children of the de« ■ ceased; and Mr. H. F. O'Leary appear* ed for tho widow, Cecilia Nora Morri« son,,of Pahiatua. Mr. M'Sherry said that Mr. Morrison married twice. There were nine'children of tho first marriage, of whom seven were under ago. Mr. 0 'Leary and Mr. Virtue saidp they1, raised no objection to the application, Tho wife's,share in the estate, said Mr. O'Leary, was not a large one, amount* ing to about £600. His Honour said it appeared to him that the application was a reasonable' one, although, of course, the plaintiffs were young to look after a property. Mr. M( Sherry said that, the two' bondsmen were prosperous farmers, and were neighbours' of the: deceased. They, were supervising, and had offered to assist the administration in every way. In view of ruling prices for stock and land it was considered that it would be disastrous to sell the property at this stage. " . . ,- ' ■ - His Honour made an order approving of the-arrangement.
