"WAITING FOR DAWN
NEW YORK, 23rd May.
The Graf Zeppelin departed from Pornambueo for Eio de Janeiro at 11.52 p.m., Brazil time. Badly shaken by heavy rain squalls during the night, the Graf Zeppelin was considerably slowed up in its flight of 1250 miles along the coast to this city. It passed over Bahia at 7.15 this morning, and Mucury ut 5.10 in the evening, having negotiated three-quar-ters of the distance.
According to expectations, the vessel should have completed the trip by then.
It is understood that the Zeppelbi, which is now due here in the early hours of the morning, will descend, bux will not make fast, and will proceed to San Paulo, where it is expected it will land, returning to Pornambueo on Monday.
The Graf Zeppelin flew thirty miles south of llio de Janeiro early this morning, then headed out for sea. She will cruise^ around till dawn, and will then return to Bio de Janeiro for landing- • '
