WESTPORT, 21st May

An inquest was held at Millerton today by Mr. 13. K. Fox, Coroner, in regard to tho death of Harry Clunie Burt. A brother who was working in the Wcstport Coal Company's Mangatina mine with him when the accident happened on Friday said that the deceased and himself were engaged in filling a box when a piece of coal fell from the lip, hitting his brother on' the head and knocking him down. Death took place shortly afterwards. The Coroner returned a verdict that death was clue to an accident,'and said that ,uo blame was attachable to anyone. ;
