MAGISTRATE'S COURT
.This morning's ' silting of the ATagistiatc's Court was presided over by Mr. E. Page, S.M. A first offender for drunkenness, who had spent the night in the cells, was convicted and discharged. For his third offence of drunkenness within six months, Joseph Hanna, aged 67, was fined 10s, in default three days' imprisonment. A similar penalty was imposed upon him on a charge of having cast offensive • matter.
