A motorist who left his car standing at the side of a main street in Petone this week had an unpleasant surprise when he tried to drive away. It was standing where a trench, had been filled in, and one of the rear wheels had sunk to' the axle and tho engine could not pull tho ear out. The driver had to pay to have it towed out, and is thinking of sending,the bill to the- P^tonu •Borougfli' Council. •
