MUSSOLINI'S HARANGUE
MOST BELLICOSE 'fHIS CENTURY \'.'
v -■ PARIS, ISth^May. The "J.ournal ties Debats" describes Signoiv Mussolini's Florence' speech as the .most bellicose harangue hoard during peace time in the present century.
In the course of a spoech at; a Fascists' gathering, Signor Mussolini said that Italy's friendship was; precious, but her enmity was hard.- More important than his speech that day were the big guns and machine-guns. The Duce continued: "There are people who think thoy can isolate Italy, and who would not bo averse to starting war .
against the Italian-people, even through the territory of a third Power. W» await them at the crossing. Though words are beautiful things, machineguns, ships, and aeroplanes are still more beautiful; Eight is a vain word unless accompanied by might."
