Lctnd Purchase Board being complied, with:,Tho property known as Whakata, comprising 508 acres, situated., near ■ Matalcohe, Owned by the estate of the 1.-ito Mr. E. C. Smith. The land is suitable for dairying and will provide- six subdivisions. The area has been acquired on behalf of a group of .settlers under- Part 11. of the Land -Laws 'Amendment Act. '..;■■ •

The- second group purchase comprises part of a property owned by Mr. V. H. Nolan, near Cambridge. The aTea is about 441 acres, and is suitable.- for dairying. It will provide five sub^ divisions. ■
