. At the Sydney Stadium, in a thrilling bantamweight contest, Johnny Peters (fist 51b), the Englishman, knocked out Billy M'Allister (Bst 4%1b), bantam champion of Australia, in the twelfth round. The footwork of both men was light and beautifully easy. In a succession of exciting rallies the Australian received considerable punishment.

Jack Roberts, the Newcastle lightweight, outpointed Norniau Gillespie, the lightweight champion (jf Australia, in fifteen, rounds at the JNeweaetlc Stadium. Gillespie was down three times.
