FATAL GUN ACCIDENT
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) .NEW PLYMOUTH, ISth May. Eric Mace, aged sixteen, the eldest son of Mr. Wilfred Mace, of Omata, was shot dead' while hare-shooting at Puniho to-day. Tho youth and a party were crossing a. crook. He- stepped across- and a gun was passed to him. Tho trigger caught in the bank and Maco received the i;hargC3 in the right'chest.
