Hancock and.Co., owners of the Imperial Hotel (the adjoining site), for approximately £50,----000. " ■ Tho purchasers intend to make extensive alterations with a view to building a- largo modern hotel embracing tho whole of tne land from Queen street to Fort lane. The property purchased is freehold, with a depth of 61 feet and a frontage of 97 feet to Fort street.
