PALMERSTON'S WINTER ATTRACTION.
June 17th is the day on which' the Win* ter Show will open at Palmerston North* the gala continuing until Saturday nighty 21st. ' Inteiding exhibitors are reminded by advertisement in this issue that entries for all classes, including the Manawatu Poultry Association's annual fixture, will close on Wednesday, 4th. June, at B p.m. The schedules for both events-*re now; ready, and are very comprehensive. In the National Dairy Show schedule special attention is drawn*to the classes for fat; stock, while in'the poultry schedule nov* ices are reminded that a section has feeei< included in each division for them. Child* ren's classes in the poultry section hav<j been extended. On the afternoon of Wed* nesday, the 18th June, Te Aute Native College will meet their gld rivals Palraerston North Boys' High School in thenannual Rugby battle, while a further treati is in store for the public on Saturday^ 21st, when St. Patrick's College of Wellington will meet the elite of Sacred Heart College of Auckland.
