TIN PLATE MARKET.

The position of the Welsh tin plate market has! been affected by the slump in the price of tin, and in the hope of obtaining their requirements at lower prices buyers appear to have adopted the policy of only covering their immediate require^ ments. The shipments of tin plates for the first quarter of the year showed an increase of 5 per cent, over those of 1929.
