AUSTRALIANS IN DUBLIN
(Keeeivcd ■ 14th May, 1 p.m.) ; ' DTTBLIN, 13th May, Tho Australian Davis Cup team had a. bumpy crossing from' Liverpool and one or two had a bad night, but Willard, who was indisposed crossing the Channel, slept all'night long and to-day dodged the .rain-sufficiently, to practice a little. The grass courts and grounds are very soft and tho balls are occasionally inclined to bury themselves instead of bouncing, but the special Davis Cup court is in excellent condition and given a day or two of fiiio- weather will bo very fast. The players are quite fit and should be in first-rate form if they get good practice on Wednesday or Thursday. The Irish are very hospitable and many outings and entertainments have been arranged, including a visit to the Guinness brewery. " . _^
