PALMEKSTON N., 11th May. Several Manawatu Eugby players were injured oh Saturday. At tho showgrounds, JPalmcrstoii North, Fred Hayes, a-St..Patrick's Club player, suffered injuries to his head and it is believed his skull is fractured. \ •
Jack Towler, a United player, suffered a compound, fracture of the jaw, and it is thought that his skull is also fractured. , .
Bobert Guy fractured his leg on. the football field at Foxton. ■ >
On the showgrounds at Palmerstoii North. C. Marehant, a Technical, School boy, had his nose broken. '. . ! .
