THE SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.

Thursday's bi-weekly concert, in the hands of Miss Castle, was a big, happy event for guests an 3 entertainers at the Sailors' Friend Society. The performers were Mrs. Hopkins, Misses Jj. Biach, L. Bailie, G. Palmer, Mavis Castle, B. Brailsford, and Messrs. M. Castle, Barrett, Johnson. Miss V. Boesley was at the piano. Refreshments were served by the hostess and helpers. Prizes for the competitions came from Mrs. J. Burnett, and went to the Huntingdon, lonic, Port Hardy, and Kia Ora. Mr^ J. Moore, mi»gioner, thanks donors of gifts.
