MAGISTRATE'S COURT
For his third offence of drunkenness within six months, Hugh Jones, aged 49, was fined £1, iv default three days' imprisonment, by Mr. T. B. M'Neil, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court thiß morning. A first offender for drunkenness, who did not appear, was fined 10s, the amount of his bail.; . ■ 'On the application of • Senior-Sergeant Dempsey, Robert Harvey Campbell, alias Kemara, was remanded to appear at New Plymouth on Wednesday. Campbell -was charged with having stolen at New Plymouth a wallet, containing tickets and a cheque book, valued at £130, the property of Robert M'Millau. Clarence William Chalk, a boilermaker, aged 30, was fined £1, in default three days' imprisonment,.on a charge of having assaulted P. O'Donoghue, and he was con-, victed and discharged for drunkenness. I Constable Bourke said that when he saw O'Donoghue his face was covered with Wood SB-4 his -SB*. »»§-£»*• ■....:_ ':
