BRINSMEAD'S FORECAST
FLYING IN A'FEW YEARS
(Received 7th March, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Colonel Brinsmead, Director of Civil Aviation, forecasted that in a few years Australia would probably see in commercial services giant air machines of the Dornier type with a wing span of 150 feet and of great capacity. In four years' time there would be services to India, South Africa, and, probably, Australia from Europe with machines carrying sixty to eighty passengers. • ' ' -
