ATTRACTIVE SPORT
HUTT CLUB'S MEETING.
First-class sport should be the order at the sports meeting to be held on the Lower Hutt Recreation Ground to-morrow afternoon by. the Lower Hutt Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club. Good entries have been received, and among those competing will be members of the Wellington team for the New Zealand championship meeting at Wanganui. One of the principal events is the ladies' 100 metres invitation scratch race, in which the following will take part:—Misses J. Willson, E. Blatherwick, B. Sharp, G. Edwards, C. Millar (Wellington), T. Kench (Hutt), J. Murray (Athletic), and Jackson (Carterton). Another important ladies' race will be the 440 yards relay for the Ericßiddiford Cup. For the open athletic and cycling events entries have been received from such well-known competitors as Jenkins, Fleming, Veitch, Eastwood, Thompson, Allan, Ogg, Campbell, Ramson, Bayne, Gane, Flett, Pearce, Foote, Munro, and Brady,
