N.R.A. EXECUTIVE
The following executive committee was elected at the annual meeting of the National Rifle Association held at Trentham this week:—President, Colonel F. B. Creswell, V.D.; Territorial representatives, Captain (Dr.) A. F. R. Crawford, N.Z.M.C. (Invercargill), Captain A. Neilson, V.D. (Hastings), and Captain H. Simmonds, M.C. (Auckland); representatives of military districts, Captain W. N. Masefield (Canterbury), President F. J. Silvius (Otago), and President W. M'Bain (Wellington); treasurer, President W. M'Bain.; secretary, President W. G. Fellingham. At a meeting of the executive later, Deputy-President H. T. -Marshall, M.C. (Wellington), by virtue of his position on the N.R.A. executive as chairman of the rifle club's executive, was appointed chairman. Captain Crawford was appointed vice-president, and Colonel Creswell chief executive officer. Lord Bledisloe, as Governor-General-elect of New Zealand, automatically becomes patron of the association, and the positions of vicepatrons are similarly filled.by the Minister of Defence and the general officer commanding the military forces.
