BRITISH CONVERSION LOAN
(Received 7th March, 2 p.m.) LONDON, 6th March. : In the House of Commons, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Mr. Snowden, said that the amount of the new.conversion loan issued for cash was £155,----325,000; by conversion ;of 5i per cent. Treasury bonds, £30,372,000. . Additionally £33,500,000 worth of war loan 1929-47 was converted- into the new conversion loan.' •
