APPEAL TO THE YOUNG
JUNIOR LABOUR LEAGUE
(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") CHRISTCHUBCH, This Day. A Junior Labour League has been formed in Christehurch. Although only in its infancy yet, the movement has met a very favourable reception, and great_things are hoped for it. Everyone joining the league is asked to sign the pledge of the New Zealand Labour Party and to become a member of the party. The organisation has been approved by the North Canterbury Labour Representation Committee, and a committee has been set up to further the movement. To indicate membership of the league the membership cards of the New Zealand Labour Party will be used, stamped with the words "Junior Labour League." The league will hold a' weekly class on civics, election organisation, and other subjects, and full opportunity will be allowed for discussion. Social evenings will also bo^held at intervals.
