LONDON, 7th February,
Lord Thomson says he is awaiting an announcement from Australia about the vital sections of the route, but the expects an extension of Imperial Airways' service to Australia this year, and also one to the' Cape, making 35,000 miles against 19,000 miles ' in 1929. The Minister declared that Imperial Airways was the nearest to being self-supporting of any of the civil aviation enterprises. The future of Empire air transport lies largely with airships. ' ' .
