United Press Association—By Electric Tel«craph—Copyright. PARIS, olh February. F. C. Peters (Oxford Blue), in the Cannes tournament, bent W. T. Tilden, 9-7, 8-0. He is the first Englishman who ever defeated Tilden. The latter, was upset by a mistake of the umpire at the end of tho first set, and when he recovered he could not obtain mastery, Peters being at the top of his form.
