HATAITAI SCHOOL

The monthly meeting of the Hataitai School Committee was held last evening at the school, Mr. 11. K. Searle (chairman) presiding. Tho following members were present: Messrs. Cook, Cameron, Coombs, Brabin, Wilson, and Gayford.

A large amount of routine business was transacted.

The headmaster (Mr. C. Robertson) reported that the school had reopened for the. year,.-and' that everything- was working smoothly. '

It was decided to hold the annual school picnic next week at Day's Bay, and that the children be taken on the trams and boats free of charge.
