STEAMER RACES TO PORT

AUCKLAND, 30th January. The American steamer West Loquassuck, en route from. Sydney to New York, has sent a wireless message stating she will put into Auckland at noon to-morrow, as the master, Captain Forsytho, has suddenly become ill, and treatment is needed urgently.
