CONTINENTAL DEMAND
Apples from New Zealand arc becoming popular on the Continent. "The Post's" London correspondent reported on 10th December that forward sales to the extent of 82,000 cases had already been made to Holland buyers by the representative in London of the New Zealand Fruit Producers Board, and 75,000 cases to Hamburg fruit merchants., The sales had been mado at satisfactory prices. The New Zealand apples did not reach London until late in. March. The Continental shipments would be by New Zealand vessels calling at Rotterdam and Hamburg. ■
