AUSTRALIAN AGREEMENT

NO SETTLEMENT AS TO SAMOA

(Beceived 10th January, 9 a.m.) THE HAGUE, 15th January. It was announced at a meeting of the Big Six that Australia and Germany had reached an agreement as to liquidated German property. New Zealand had still not agreed. Samoa was the outstanding point in dispute.

From inquiries in official quarters today it was learned that as far as New Zealand was concerned certain questions regarding confiscated German properties in Western Samoa were still under consideration.
