DANNEVIRKE A. AND P. SHOW
The ,21st annual show of the Dannevirke District A. and P. Association is to be held on. Tuesday and Wednesday, 11th and 12th February. There are. the usual classes, for saddle horses, competitions- and • all breeds of cattle, of which the Jersey breed are most liberally, catered for in the way of prize moiiey,• The Dannevirke.District Jersey Club with the New Zealand Jersey Cattle Club subsidy has increased' the prizes in this section to the extent' of £25. ■ ' ' .
In the purebred sheep . section classes have been added for Romney and Southdown sheep in natural condition, and the association intends to increase these classes next year if sufficient support is forthcoming at this show. There are also classes for fat sheep, lambs, pigs, school exhibits, butter, cheese, needle and home industries. A new 'class has been added for fleece wool. ' ' .
A special feature will be the dop; show, run by the Dannevirke Kennel Club in conjunction with the A. and P. Association. Schedules are available, and will he sent on application to the secretary, Mr. ri. S. M. Quiglcy, Box 38, Dannevirke.
