The numbers of infectious diseases in the hospital districts of the Wellington health district are now down to what may be considered as a minimum. .Following are the figures for the past week (the numbers for the previous week being given in parentheses):— Wanganui-Horowhenua.—Scarlet . fever, 1 (3); tuberculosis, 2 (0); pneumonic influenza, 2 (0); erysipelas, 1 (1).
Wairarapa-Hawkes Bay.—Scarlet fever, 1 (2); diphtheria, 2 (0); tuberculosis, 3 (1); pneumonia, 1 (1). Central Wellington.—Scarlet fever, i (3); diphtheria, 5 (1); tuberculosis, 2 (2); pneumonia, 4 (1); puerperal fever, 1 (0); ophthalmia nematorum, 1 (0). ■Nelson-Marlborouirh.-B-Nil (3). ■ < ■ .
