"Pertinax," writing in the "Echo de Paris," refers to what he calls "England's American policy." He expresses the opinion that "the Entento Cordialo is now dead. England has no desire for a special understanding tpwards France. Tho Puritan spirit is at present uppermost. The only thing for France to do is to await the turn of the wheel."
