Sokohnkoff and his staff were taken to St. James's Palace in two State carnages, with scarlet cloaked coachmen and outriders. He was met by the King s marshalmen and representatives oi the Foreign Office. The presentaTm" Sl v. cere. c, made in the Throne Room. Immediately afterwards M. Sokolnikofl called on Mr. Henderson and exchanged notes covering guarantees against propaganda in tho Dominions.
