AT CABINET MEETING

The proceedings gf Cabinet this morning were interrupted by the sudden indisposition, of the Hon. E. A. Eansom (Minister of Public Works).

Ever siuco assuming his portfolio, Mr. Ransom lirs attended very assiduously to his duties, and in the'hlst few months he has laeeii working at high pressure, especially in connection with finding work for the unemployed. During the meeting of Cabinet to-day he was attacked by a fainting fit and collapsed. Medical aid was immediately summoned and Mr. Eansom speedily leeovered, but it was deemed advisable that ho should be removed to his residence, 260, Tinakori road. This afternoon, he was reported to be greatly improved.
