SCHOOL CONCERT
A most successful and well-attended concert was hold.in tho Kllblrhlo Hall last eveninc in aid of the Lyall Bay Home and School Association s Funds. The programme was sub inltted by the- Lyall Bay School Elocution Class conducted by Mrs. Menard, assisted by school pupils. It well deserved tlie natron age it drew, and consisted' of musical and elocutionary items, in which all tho Items were well received. A children's play, entitled -To Dream of an Enchanted Forest," was v.M carried out. Five scenes were depicted, compriaing^ "The Beginninß of the Dream." The Kitchen or Fridie's House" "The En chanted Forest;" "Dwarfs' Home," and "Fairy, land, the latter scene fcelng a most picturesque I?? 8,! 1", wUch *W tho Participants were assembled on the sta E c in attendance at "The ™ry Wedding."
