DISCONTENT IN ARMY
STOCK EXCHANGE PANIC
LONDON, 20th November. The "Daily News" Gibraltar correspondent says that in the hope of quelling the growing Spanish army unrest, General De Rivera has handed King Alphonso a decree dissolving for the third time the artillery regiments throughout Spain, but so far the King has refused to sign the decree: The Stock Exchanges at Madrid and Barcelona showed signs of panic. There is a general slump in prices, but it is not known whether it is due to nervousness arising out of the intense political situation.
