Cniteo Press Association—By Electric TeU-
craph—Copyright. (Received 19th November, 2 p.m.) NEW YORK, 18th Nov. llie btock Exchange gave a further indication of a return to normal conditions to-day. There was a decline within a comparatively narrow range but many issues picked up towards the close, and the majority finished above their lows for the day. Wall Street was pleased with the market performance, and looked for a continuation of quiet sessions with narrow price movements until the list becomes adjusted to the new conditions.
The main interest now centres upon President Hoover's forthcoming industrial conferences.
The first Stock Exchange casualty of the recent crash was recorded when the Governors suspended a Providence (E. 1.) firm- for failure to meet its obligations.
