Comment is caused by his opening the National Assembly on Friday, Ist November, It is now officially announced '.hat a Bill I will be forthcoming at an early date to make Sunday the "Day of Beat" instead of Friday, primarily for financial and commercial reasons. European Stock Exchanges and banks are open on Friday but shut on Sunday Turkey must fall into line or lose a day's business. The Government considers the losses thereby so serious during economic reconstruction that tradition must be sacrificed.
