Representatives of the Overseas Transport Association requested tlio Prime Minister to alter the provisions of the Monopolies Prevention Act to enable joint agreements to be made between shipowners and shippers for the more economical working of shipping lines and for tho better regulation of freight^ Mr. Scullin promised en refill consideration of the request. Ho- addod that it opened up a most interesting and important question.
