"JOURNEY'S END."
The extraordinarily fine war play in three acts, "Journey's End." aiidthe realistic presentation of it by the J. C. Williamson Company at the Grand Opera House last evening aroused another large audience to a high state of enthusiasm, the whole, .caste, after the fall of the curtain, having to respond »individually to a remarkable storm of applause. It Is, in fact, one of tho most intense, dramatic, highly interesting, and diverting plays staged In Wellington for many years, and is superbly acted, the entire cast being ■of exceptional ability. The play presents a few pages of the story of what' Was happening on the British side of the front line before St. Quentin immediately prior to the great German offensive of 21st .March, 1918, when. the German armies broke through and overwhelmed the sth British Army, and came within an ace of wlnningthe whole war. The play will be repeated this evening.
