IJataon and Sticpewich are to make attacks on the record established last season by Jack Arnott, as well as taking part m the Open Handicap, for which **c entries are a record. They are confident of making fast times, and it is expected that Syd. Perkins, another noted Australian rider, will also be a prominent ngure. Added interest to the meeting has been given by the entry of three Auckland riders, Allen, Matson, and Garnson, and there will also be a large contingent ot local competitors. One of the most stirring contests will be that for the Uoltlen Helmet, in which the leading-JsTew Zealand riders will be seen in action^The meeting should be one of the best on record. In the event of bad weather necessitating a postponement, the meeting will be held on Monday night. Particulars regarding the reservation of seats, etc., are given elsewhere in this issue.
