LABOUR PARTY'S MOVE

SYDNEY, This Day.
It was announced at the Australian Labour Party offices that a motion would bo submitted at tho meeting of the Federal Parliamentary Labour Party at Canberra to-day for the ap: pointment of ah Australian to the position of Governor-General in, succession to Lord Stoiiehaven. Members supporting the proposal consider that the Chief Justice, Sir Adrian Knox, should be invited to accept the position.
