There are very few cases of infectious diseases in the Wellington health district at the present time, as will be seen from the following return o£ notifications furnished by the Health Department for the week ended Monday:—Wanganui-Horo-whenua: Scarlet fever, 7; tuberculosis, 1; pneomonia, 1. Wairarapa-Hawkes Bay: Scarlet fever, S; diphtheria, 1; enteric fever, 1; tuberculosis, 1; pneumonia, 3; puerperal fever,' 1. Central Wellington: Scarlet fever, 3; diphtheria, 1; tuberculosis, 4; pneumonia, 1; puerperal fever, 1; eclampsia, 2. Nelson-Marlboropgh: Scarlet fever, 3; diphtheria, 1; enteric fever, 1.
