Miles Mander and Madeline Carroll have tho starring roles in "The First Born," the attraction at the Empire Theatre to-night. The story was written and directed by Miles Mander. Madeline Boycott, who loves her husband, is brokenhearted when he leaves her. His defence is that she has not fulfilled his desire for a child. Madeline adopts another child and brings it up as her own, and, her husband believing It is his own, returns home. The supporting cast includes John Loder and Theodore Mander. The supporting programme has been well selected.
