Scratched: Some Guy, Brook Pointer, Shining Light, Denver City. Won by two lengths. Time, 3min 42 l-ssec. Petrio Handicap, of 120 sovs; twelve furlongs and a half:—2 Jock Bingen, 72yds bhd 1; 7 Nelson Parish, 84yds bhd, 2; I.Great Way, 60yds bhd, 3. Scratched:—Osgood, Child Boy. Won by half a length, ten lengths between second and third. Time, 3min 50 l-ssec. Mawhera Handicap, of 235 sovs; 2.24 class; twelve furlongs and a half.—B Flora Golding, scr, 1; 2 Royal Comrade, 36yds behind, 2; Cyone, 12yds behind? 3. Scratched: Red Rey. Won by a head. Time, 3min 42-25.
