WORSER BAY BOATING CLUB
The annual meeting of the Worser Bay Boating Club was held this week, Mr. A. C. Kitto presiding. The annual report and balance-aheet showed that the club had made steady progress, and was in a good financial position. The social activities were on a sound 'footing, and the sailing races resulted in very keen competition. Thanks were due to Mr. J. M'Lachlan for his interest in the club's affairs during the absence Tof the starter and judge. Several trophies".' and cups were presented to the club during the season, and 28 new members, were elected. A club library had also been established. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr. K. Seiople, MJP.; president, Mr. A. C. Kitto (re-elected); vice-presidents, Mrs. E. Grabham, Messrs. J. Ramsay, J. Scott, H; B. Eornibrook, H. Townsend, J..S. Blair, J. C. Charman; commodore, Mr. J. M'Lachlan; vice-commodore, Mr. E. J. Wilson; rear-commodore, Blr. G. C. Chairman; secretary, Mr. P. E. Key (reelected); treasurer, Mr. H. B. Miller (reelected); handicapper, Mr. J. M'Lachlan; judge and starter, Mr. F. Herbert; hon. auditor, Mr. J. Gendall; social sccretai-y, j Mrs. Christcnsen and Mr. P. E. Key;' delegates to the W.P.Y. and M.B. Assoei- j ation, Messrs. E. ,T. Wilson, J. King, aud •D. Bell. It was decided to open the sea-son-orr-lOth-November.
