MEN OF KENT
Ihe Wellington branch of the Association or Men of Kent and Kentish Men held a very successful social evening on Wednesday. The president, Dr. C. J. Reakea was in the chair, supported by Sir William Hall-Jones, past-president, and there was an attendance of about 50 or CO Dr -heakes mentioned that the council had decided to hold quarterly socials instead of dances as in the past, as it was felt that members would thus get to know one another better. The musical programme, arranged by Messrs. Dean and Meacock, included tfongs by Mrs. Leach and Mrs w «J a m> Md Messrs. Parrott, Bolton, W\,- W • Marshall, A. L. Edwards, Laurie, ■Uollie, nnd Meacock, violin solo by Mr. r SJ? eener. 'and musical items by Mr. F. L. Dean's orchestra. Sir William HallJones gave a short address. It was unanimously decided to ■ hold a' social about March, when the two Kentish cricketers Messrs. -Lcgge and Woolley, would be welcomed.
