SUICIDE BEFORE ARREST

PEBTH, Ist October. A man named Harry Hal], armed with, a revolver, ran amok at Palmyra last night and killed his neighbour, Bobeft Banks. He then visited the homo of the Hepburn family and shot Hepburn and his wife and daughter. Hall then roamed tho district overnight and. shot Harry Burton, a' local milkman, who died later.
The police surrounded his homo, but before Hall could bo arrested ho shot himsfclf dead. Hepburn and his wifo are m a critical condition. It is understood that Hall's mind was affected, by a delusion that his neighbours were robbing him.
