A report presented to the Educatioi Board to-day showed that' none of the brick schools in the city (Mount Cook Miramar South, Berhampore, Elizabeth street, and To Aro infant) had-been damaged by tho recent earthquakes In the Potono West school a few small cracks, due to shrinkage and settlement, had occurred. Although the T« Aro infant school had high pediment! over the entrance, they had not beea affected. However, in accordance with the instructions of tho Minister of Education, the heavy work over th« entrance was to be removed.
