A HEALTHIER CAMP

. (From Our Own Correspondent.) NELSON, Ist July. Tho local relief fund now stands at 10s 7d. Tho Public Works District Engineer (Mr. L. May) is of tho opinion that tho refugee camp at Murchison is in a very insanitary condition. The Department' 6 employees engaged on roading works in the locality, who have been living at the refugee camp, are to be withdrawn to a new camp erected for them nearby. Resolutions embodying a suggestion for the roturn of tho refugees to tlioir homes in and around Murchison were passed by the Emergency Committee to-day. About 25 Murchison settlers left for their homes by car this morning, and others will follow as soon as possible.
