Buckley, officer in charge jof Wigram Aerodrome, who took a Moth to Westport yesterday to reopen communication with Karamea, was accompanied by Corporal H. Smith, who will supervise the packing and shipment of tho ot.hor Moth which was damaged on the ground in last woek's gale. The trip over was made in excolient time—l hour 53 minutes. Captain Buckley will Idave the Moth at Westport -so that for a day or two longor Captain Burrell' will bo ablo to continue his work of helping to maintain communications on the Coast, and will himself return' by train. A temporary hangar has been built on the beach at Westport by the Public Works Department, and in this tho Moth -will bo housed.
